Currently a High School student at another private school. █ ██ ✖ Social Class: Upper Middle class. █ ██ ✖ Specialty: Stalker - aka he's good at following after people unseen LOL or sneaking into places, and the only time he shuts up is when he's working .... - goes 'natural' for when he goes on the job to blend in easier - since he is rather..unrecognizable like this compared to his usual he is very self-conscious of others who see him █ ██ ✖ Personality: immature || short tempered || cocky || loyal
An immature teenager who can be riled up easily sometimes and believes that violence can be an answer to most things. His favorite things to say are along the lines of "I'll kill you ! " "Die ! " especially when he's upset, which happens rather quick. He can be offended by comments and will fly into a rage yelling at the other person or trying to destroy things around him. Since he jumps to accusations / conclusions he can be stubborn...OTL He can be an idiot at times since he usually doesn't use his head before doing something...
His short temper is something that can be manipulated by others if they can figure out what triggers his tantrums into doing what they want him to do for them. ( ex: angering him so he will do something ) If you catch a hold of one of his 'secrets' that he feels would bruise his ego, he'll fly into an odd flustered / angry rage LOL...Bao can be rather loud , and shouts often at people or even strangers if riled up.
But since he IS rather short...he doesn't come off as being as threatening as he likes to think he is. Bao sees a lot of things as being a challenge to him. Especially if you glare at him he'll think you're trying to fight a start or something. IF YOU CHALLENGE HIM TO SOMETHING IT'S HARD FOR HIM TO REFUSE....He auto sees any male taller than himself as being a threat to his territory him.
His cocky demeanor is also partially just for show. He uses his 'bright' colored hair or outrageous clothes to become a protective shield for himself in his attempt to look 'cool'. He can be very self-conscious or critical about himself since his sister's death is still 'fresh' in his mind for him. If you scare him enough or surprise him it will falter.
He doesn't say 'I love" or "I like", instead it'll be "I don't hate it / I don't dislike it " , he can rant on and be negative when he says "I hate" a lot BUT DEEP DOWN YOU KNOW HE CARES...sometimes. Although he comes off as rather feisty, once he considers you 'comrades' or some form of legit level of 'friends' although his way of treating them is odd...he is fiercely loyal to them. He'll reluctantly agree to help them although he'll throw a fit over it. Likes/Dislikes: - likes Alice and other bunnies / rabbits - dislikes getting wet ( if his hair is dyed at the time ) - has a soft spot for fairytales & fruits - dislikes tall people █ ██ ✖ Abilities: His rather small stature allows him to have greater agility as well as allowing him to conceal and have better control over his body. ( footsteps, breathing, getting out of small places, etc ) strengths : - good at kicking things, otherwise his determination to fight makes up for his lack of actual strength - shortness makes it easier for him to sneak around - isn't very muscular so allows him to have better agility - runs rather fast, able to keep up with following running targets weaknesses : - besides his kicks, he's not very strong likes to think he is though... - loses his attention / distracted easily if taunted - not too bright, may take him a while to understand something
█ ██ ✖ History:TL;DR : Bao had a twin sister name Jinjing who was in love with her teacher. Made Bao promise not to tell everyone, she ended up becoming pregnant. Was rejected by the teacher when she told him, and later committed suicide out of guilt and depression. Bao was at a loss of what to do. He didn't want to reveal his sister's relationship to the public in order to have the teacher pay for his crimes because of the promise. He loved his sister and didn't want her name brought into question when the relationship would become public if he gave up the teacher to the authorities. Cartes Blanches approached him and offered him a deal. He immediately took it, happy that the man who ruined his life and took his sister away from him would die.
Bao-Zhi had a twin sister named Jinjing who was the center of his world. While her brother was quick to anger and easy to turn to violence, Jinjing took a calmer, more mellow approach to things. Their personalities were vastly different but despite that they were able to understand each other on another level. They felt a strong and close relationship to each other, and valued their relationships as twins and siblings. They became each other's 'support' and they became very dependent on each other. They were born to a middle class family where there life was very ordinary.
They attended a nice private school like regular children and had what seemed to be a relatively normal life there. One downside however was that their teachers believed it was best to 'separate' the twins into two separate classes in the hopes that it would help them to become less dependent on each other and more independent for their own lives. At first they were both furious and upset by the idea of having to be separated from each other for most of the day, but no matter what they said their parents refused to change their minds. And the twins had no choice but to go along with their parents' wishes. Things went alright, shaky the first few weeks of having each other's presence absent from each other's side, but they were able to make their own friends. They continued to keep a routine of meeting up for lunch to 'recharge' by having their sibling close by.
However things slowly did change, Bao began to see odd incidents with his sister's behavior when they turned 15. There were subtle things that he picked up on and mentioned to his parents but they dismissed his concerns. They believed he was just being a stubborn child who was jealous his sister was becoming closer to other people and that they were forced to be in separate classes. Despite his parent's denial, he didn't give up in trying to figure it out. Bao had been with his twin long enough to notice when things were different. His sister when confronted denied everything and told him to not always be so 'worried' about her and she would be fine on her own. He didn't believe a word she said....
Bao being the stubborn one of the twins, refused to believe his suspicions were incorrect and pushed onward. Over the next few months, his sister became more and more withdrawn. She would shy away from his touch or when they were alone together she would clam up and talk as if on auto pilot. But despite those incidents he would also caught her constantly day dreaming, lost in her own thoughts. He began to describe her 'symptoms' as something similar to lovesickness. They hardly kept secrets from each other, and it scared Bao to know his twin was beginning to do so.
He became increasingly worried and he found himself a chance to investigate when his sister caught a cold and had to stay home from school. Bao knew his twin would have otherwise been upset if he went asking around while she was at school, and didn't consult his parents in the belief that he could take care of his precious sister on his own.
He went to her teachers in private, asking them if there was anything going on with his sister during classes. They feigned ignorance to any forms of 'bullying' and said she did get along very well in classes. Her homeroom teacher in particular seemed to take a very big interest in her and referred to her as being his best student. Bao recalled this teacher the most, having had to wait for his sister or leave school without her when this teacher asked her to stay behind. The man seemed genuinely concerned about his sister's well being, and even more surprised when Bao said he mentioned her odd behavior to his parents who refused to believe him. Since it was a teacher his sister trusted a lot, he mentioned his own hypothesis that she was seeing someone and trying to hide it from their parents. The teacher quickly dismissed Bao's concern, and told him to not bother with his parents. His sister was probably 'going through that pre-teen phrase' and urged rather aggressively for him to just drop the subject. Confused, and with no idea still of what was wrong, Bao went back to tend to his sick sister.
The next day while Bao stayed up to wait for his sister to come home, she arrived in disarray. Her clothes appeared torn in places, her normally clean appearance stained by blood. Instantly Bao flew into a frantic worry, asking what was wrong or what happened but all Jinjing would do was cling onto him and cry. As he helped to clean up her wounds, it didn't take long before he realized what had happened to his sister. Eventually through broken words, she told him how 'he' became upset at her because 'he' thought that she told Bao of their relationship. And in a rage they had begun to argue and things escalated. So 'he' had punished her by raping her.
If it wasn't for his desperate sister clinging onto him, Bao would have ran out of the room in rage with the sole goal of ripping her teacher to shreds. She begged, pleaded with him not to say anything. "I love him", she said crying and smiling at the same time, "He didn't mean to do it...He's not usually like this...He loves me." She cried and cried, hugging onto Bao tightly. "I don't want him to be taken away, it wasn't his fault. Bao, please, if you love me don't do it." Of course her brother couldn't fathom what she said. How could she love the monster who hurt her? But...more than he hated the man for hurting his twin, his love for her was much larger. And he reluctantly kept his mouth closed but the truth began to eat away at him and his temper became even worse as a result.
Days turned into weeks, which soon turned into months as time seemed to fly quickly by. The heavy secret that Bao had to carry became a burden for the teenage boy, and was the only thing he could think about. He could see his sister was still saddened by the relationship , but at the same time there would be instances where his sister would look so happy when she talked about him. What was the 'right' thing to do?
Over the months his sister also began to show some changes. She would often become ill in the morning, complaining about nausea and having to stay home even more often from school. Jinjing would eventually recover but then the sickness would quickly come back in another few days. Bao became worried about her health. What was wrong with his sister? He was too young to think about it back then as a 'possibility' so it wasn't until his sister confronted him that he found out why.
"I'm pregnant." Her voice was filled with joy as she whispered to him in excitement one day. Her twin didn't seem to share the same enthusiasm as she did. Bao was filled with a bitterness towards that confession. How could this happen to his sister? He blamed everything on the teacher. What would his parents do when they found out? What would the school do?! Although he began to worry over everything, his sister calmly told him that everything would be alright because he loved her and they would be happy. She hadn't yet told her teacher about the surprise, and said that she was waiting for the right moment. Eventually she gave in and agreed to Bao's forceful wishes that she would tell him the next time she saw him.
When his sister was finally well enough to go back to school, she went to talk to the teacher after school. Bao, instead of heading home as he usually did, decided to stay behind and wait for his sister just in case. His sister soon arrived, and greeted him with a somber smile. Bao greeted his twin with the usual open arms, offering her a hug and she took it. Silently crying into his shoulder and telling him that "It's okay, everything will be fine...I'm sorry..." He wasn't sure what she meant by it but did not push her any farther while she was in this state.
He didn't even notice the signs, and he still blames himself to this day for it. With her confrontation with the teacher he had rejected her. He had told her to abort the child. The man had no intention of becoming a 'father' let alone 'marry' her because she was pregnant with his child. He had only ever intended to use the girl as a way to pass time and nothing more. The strong feelings she had for him turned out to be completely one sided. Jinjing was too heartbroken and kept it to herself. She could sense the worry and pain she had caused her twin already by making him keep this dark secret for her. Despair over doing nothing right caused her to make an attempt to take her own life. The one she loved refused her, the child she wanted to have because she loved him was rejected, her brother whom she cared so much for was crumbling under the secret she made him keep. There were too many emotions filing her, leading her to believe that she screwed everything up. If she wasn't there, then at least she could make Bao happy again.
Bao's world came crashing down when his parents discovered her hanging body dangling from the stair case. She had stayed home from school again that day, knowing that her parents would be at work and the home would be empty. Using one of the spare bed sheets, she looped it around her neck and tied it to one of the pole railings. After that, she simply crawled onto the top of the railing and took a jump.
Thankfully when news arrived and Bao was sent home early, the medics had already taken down her body. He cannot recall much of what happened the day his sister died, besides yelling and screaming. Throwing anything he could find at the walls, ignoring the desperate pleas from his parents and others to calm down. He couldn't stop the tears that raked his body, and eventually just fell into a messy heap and cried.
He hated how his sister so easily had taken her own life and left him behind. Why didn't she talk to him? Bao had truly believed things were going well. His sister had seemed so happy. After the autopsy, his parents did learn about the unborn child in her womb. They were shocked, and if she had been alive they would have screamed at their daughter for her stupidity but...looking at her lifeless body on the slab they could only cry. Their daughter's life was much more important and they blamed themselves believing she killed herself in fear of disappointing them. They didn't know who the child's father was and hadn't realized she was even seeing someone. Bao provided no answers to the questions either and remained silent through the ordeal. Even though his sister was gone, his fierce loyalty over the promise she asked of him continued.
Her funeral came quickly after her death, and Bao began ditching school every day to stay home. He would spend his time wandering back and forth or just sitting inside his twin's room for most of the day. It was no surprise when most of the school and staff showed up at the funeral. But there was one person in particular that Bao kept an eye out for. Her teacher arrived rather late, a sad smile plastered onto his face as he gave his condolences to Bao and his family. And when he reached her casket, a flash of disgust reached his eyes before the man left. Bao couldn't hold himself back anymore, and took after the teacher. He confronted the man alone and asked him about his sister and wanted to know what he said to her that day. Wasn't his sister happy to have his child? The teacher laughed at the boy's foolishness. How could he ever love her? Jinjing was just a student, a way to pass the time. Her pregnancy was a obstacle and ruined his plans to only keep up their relationship until she graduated or a new pretty student caught his eye. That day she confessed to him about it, he had set her straight. Bao threw a punch at the man, frustration and anger boiling over as he pinned the blame on him. The boy was no match for a full grown adult, and was quickly taken over by the teacher.
"But you won't tell anyone, right? Because your precious sister made you promise?" The man knew about the close relationship the twins had and Bao's unwavering loyalty to his sister whether she was alive or dead. "What would your parents say when you tell them? What will everyone think of her when it's made public she was pregnant?" All his words were true. He didn't want to bring up anything that would dirty his sister's name when she should now be at peace. "Your parents would blame you for not saving your sister. Why weren't you there for her when you knew of this 'secret'?"
The teacher was right about everything. Bao was lost on what to do. He didn't want to reveal the teacher's identity in hopes of having him punished for their relationship and involvement in his sister's death. Even when she took her own life, Bao knew his sister must still have loved the sick bastard. And if the teacher was taken in, no doubt the student and teacher affair would get out and his sister's name would be put into question. He couldn't destroy her memory... he didn't want her to hurt anymore.
He wanted to kill the man who destroyed his life and took his sister away. But he was nothing more than a child. What could he do? It was then that Cartes Blanches approached him with an offer he couldn't turn down. The teacher's life in exchange for working for them when they needed. It was a small price to pay to see the man who took his sister away pay for his crimes. The boy immediately agreed to it and does not regret his decision. In his naivety, he believes the man's death is justified for taking his sister's and still believes that to this day. He has no arguments about the various jobs CB asks of him, and takes it as some sort of 'repayment' of punishments to his sister for being unable to help her when she needed it the most.
Currently, Bao was moved to a new school after his insistence and a few violent tantrums involving throwing more objects on being transferred from the school he once attended with his twin. His parents grew further apart from him in their attempts to give their son more 'room' in respect over how hard he took his sister's death. Their son in return kept his short fused temper and is still having a hard time adjusting to his sister's absence although it's been almost a year since her death.
In a form of atonement so he wouldn't be reminded of his sister when he looked in the mirror, he began taking to dying his hair red. He also hoped it would help his parents to not be reminded of his sister if he looked different than her. █ ██ ✖ Alice : • robotic bunny plushie • primary functions are like an all purpose cellphone & mini computer combined. Does not have any real 'attack' options besides the emergency self defense trigger. • required to charge once a week, runs 24 hours and can charge via using solar energy during day if outside. • can 'hover' at low heights ( around height of a person ) but uses up a lot of her energy, mainly takes a ride on Bao's shoulder or in his bag. • Alice was originally bought as a present for jinjing, using the voice diary she had on it, he was able to purchase a simulated program to mimick Jinjing's voice. Alice only speaks when alone with Bao or if it is something critical • Alice was named after Jinjing's favorite fairy tale. • he likes to talk to Alice a lot when he's alone, she has a 'recording' option that records it like a virtual diary for him. • he refuses to delete the old journal entries that Jinjing had put into Alice's database █ ██ ✖ Miscellaneous: • has 3 piercings on left ear, 1 on right, and eyebrow ring ( barbell ) • can see perfectly out of his other eye ( that is covered by his hair ) • dyes his hair mostly everyday / uses the colored contacts ; sometimes does go without them
- yes he does 'dye' his hair every morning, so if he's running late / too busy / woken up in the middle of the night or just not feeling up to it, he will be in his natural and pissed off state that is not styled. - mostly he keeps it dyed while not at school / with his parents since he does it to look 'different' from jinjing - the hair dye he uses does not 'dry out' his hair due to advancements with hair dyes, it is however not waterproof. ( large amount of water will wash it out ) since he uses it every day. - regularly it takes him up to 2 hours or more to dye & style his hair he takes great pride in it alskdjf - has a weak spot for those who also lost a sibling ; he dislikes talking about his sister and act rather aggressive when asked █ ██ ✖ Relationships: : those he is currently rping with
